BDB Lock and Safe Servicing Agreement

Both new and reconditioned safes will be fully serviced and checked before delivery takes place. We can offer a yearly service contract for your safe with the first year free of charge. It is important to service safes once, especially the higher grand ones as they tend to have complicated bolt work and anti explosive devises that need checking in case anything comes loose with age vibration causing the safe to potentially lock out. Our service would include the following checks;

  • Remove lock and service contents

  • Grease moving parts, bolt work and check all fixings

  • Check all re-lockers and cables

  • Adjust the height of the door ensuring smooth opening and closing

  • Tighten all bolts and screws using locktight fluid.

The servicing of safes is a very important part of owning a safe, many people assume that a large metal box doesn't need servicing and will last forever. Negligence usually ends in lock outs causing needless expense.
